Keep track of your profit and costs with Dimension
Would you like to be able to keep better track of your expenses and income, when working with your agreement?
You can easily have that overview, if you use the add on module Dimension, when you book your customer or supplier invoices.
With the add on module Dimension, you can create various “departments” and add these departments to your entry. When you book your customer or supplier invoices you will then distribute the cost and profit to these departments.
This way you can take out a budget, a balance or a turnover statistic report, anytime you’d like to see the profitability of your various departments.
The “department” doesn’t necessarily have to be a department as such. It could also be your fleet of lorries or cars, or it could be your different shops, for which you’d like to see your profitability, just to mention a few examples.
If you have recurring fixed percentages to distribute for a number of departments, you can save yourself some time and create a distribution key.
With the distribution key, you set up the department and the percentage to be distrubuted, for each department, and use this key every time you book a cost or an income, for these departments. Your costs or income will then be distributed automatically when you book your entry.
