A number of API enhancements have been made available this month.  The following went live today:

1. The ability to book day book entries makes fully-fledged integrations much easier.
2. Access to read customer entries (both ‘all’ and ‘open only’) will be of particular benefit to CRM and web shop integrations.
3. Access to the Project setting on invoices will be popular with Project integrations.
4. VAT reconciliation between systems will be helped by the two additional invoice line properties exposing the VAT rate and VAT amount, respectively, of individual invoice lines.

The following enhancements went live earlier in the month:

1. A function to retrieve the next available customer number – enabling integrators to utilise e-conomic’s customer-auto-numbering functionality.
2. The possibility of retrieving PDFs for orders – similar to what’s already available for invoices.
3. The ability to read the company’s base currency – making it much easier to create integrations that can be sold internationally.
4. Access to the Subscription add-on module.
5. Access to read and set payment info on suppliers.  This makes it easier to set and use a default payment type for each supplier.
