Climate-friendly bookkeeping?
Is this a marketing stunt, or does climate-friendly bookkeeping really exist? Let me make one thing clear: this is no greenwashing attempt. I just want to point out that most of the advantages that I see in SaaS are in fact also CO2 reducing.

SaaS advantages
This may sound trivial, buy with online accounting, there’s no need to produce, package and send installation material (cd roms) or heavy user manuals. So far, more than 75,000 companies/users have used or tested our system. Imagine the amount of waste, if we had sent installation disks and manuals to all of you by post, or filled the shelves in shops all around the world with our product.
Since accountants or bookkeepers can see the same data as the companies, the need for consultant travelling and miles of transportation are minimised. We do not know the extent of the miles saved.
I do not doubt that electronic partnership is the future. Integration with banks and the exchange of electronic information in general between companies and their partners reduce the need for physical transportation of paper.
