CEO meets media in London
e-conomic’s CEO, Torben Frigaard Rasmussen, will be in London next Wednesday to meet the press. He’ll be discussing…
Financial results, strategy and roadmap
IDC recently predicted that the SaaS market will grow by 40% during 2009 – which is in sharp contrast to most other industries which are shrinking during the recession. e-conomic has shown impressive growth year-on-year. In 2007 our turnover increased by 60% and our results for 2008 will show similarly impressive revenue growth. Q4 2008 was a bumper quarter and January 2009 saw a 40% increase on our biggest month ever. Compared to software industry norms, e-conomic’s growth is exceptional – we took on 5,000 new paying customers last year alone. Torben will be revealing our international strategy, our development road map and previewing new feature launches coming in the next 12 months.
Key issues
Torben tends to be “quietly outspoken” on industry issues and is always willing to share his views on industry hot topics such as:
- SaaS versus ERP / traditional accounting software
- return on investment models for online accounting
- the rising prominence of green computing
- the changing relationship between accountants and their clients
- new ways to create client loyalty
About Torben:
Torben became CEO of e-conomic in September 2008 and has overall responsibility for the running of the company across all markets. He is well-known within the online world and has recently been invited to speak at the OnDemand Europe conference in June 2009, alongside Jesper Frederiksen, Head of Google Enterprise and Zach Nelson, President and CEO, NetSuite Inc. Torben is an experienced leader of both online and traditional companies - prior to e-conomic, he was CEO of Come&Stay, a French stock listed company, where he worked for three years. Before that he was CEO of Retail Internet, a successful permission marketing company that was successfully merged with Come&Stay in France.
