With E-conomic you can connect your accounts with other online systems and thereby automate much of your administrative work and make it more efficient.
– in other words – apps!
With apps, you can for example:

• Automatically post your payroll results as a Journal into E-conomic

• Synchronize all the product categories, products, orders and debtors in your webshop with your E-conomic stock module

• Get easy access to customer data through two-way synchronisation between web-CRM and E-conomic
Loads of apps!
Bookkeeping can be tedious and time consuming, but with the E-conomic Apps, your workload will become streamlined and so much easier.
Our philosophy is that the bookkeeping should be easy and fun, that’s why we are very interested in supporting the development of new apps, so you get more time to focus on your customers.
On our app page you can read about our apps and find information for developers who want to create new apps.

Read more about our apps - and how to become an app developer at our apps page
Benefits of Apps:
• You get an overview and connections between the systems your company uses
• You save time on time-consuming routines
• Flexibility, if business needs change

Do you wish to ensure, that you haven’t got the entire risk with a big order? Or are you reluctant to stretch your credit limit with the bank any further, in connection with an order?
If these are some of your challenges in the day to day business with your customers, you can limit your risk and your credit, by sending a partial invoice.
With a partial invoice, your customer can make a down payment and you can secure some money in your bank account, so you are able to continue doing business. There’s a few easy steps to making a partial invoice, but rest assured that your time will be well spend.

“100% customer satisfaction is our goal”, “We listen to our customers”, “We are industry leaders in <insert market area>”.
We have all seen these claims – they are everywhere.
Perhaps you also use some of these? (in your case they are of course absolutely true
). In our case here at E-conomic, I know for sure that we still have some of these phrases lying around on our online media.
But the problem is that they often have little resemblance to reality – or at least only partially. They are expressions of intent and visions more than they are actual facts.
Maybe they are expressions from an old marketing culture – perhaps because everyone else uses them. In any case, the effect is often that trust suffers when companies speak about their own outstanding qualities.
After working with countless suppliers and partners in the past 15 years, I have experienced only a handful of companies that truly do put customers first and really are highly skilled in their area.
Now, let me share an experience I had recently with one of these rare companies – Tron Systems in the UK.

As the HLB conference in Beijing draws to a close it is time to reflect on the events of the last few days. Apart from Beijing itself – more of which later – the conference itself has been a great success.
What has been apparent is the level of genuine interest in Cloud technology in general and online accounting in particular. The E-conomic stand has been busy over the three days and some very useful contacts made. Tejn Nielsen is going to have a busy time when he gets back following up on the enquiries that he has received.
What has been particularly gratifying as far as I am concerned, is the level of interest from the UK – a marked change from conferences earlier in the year.
As I have commented previously, I predicted that 2011 would be the year of the cloud and Beijing has confirmed my view.

In your agreement you have a wide range of functions to help you sort out your bookkeeping, make invoices for your customers and book your supplier invoices – overall you can pretty much do what’s neccesary for doing your accounting.
If you are on the look out for a system enhancement, perhaps an add-on module might be the thing for you.
Just to mention a few of the add-on modules, you are able to scan your documents into your agreement, and have them booked right away.
With the Stock Management add-on module you can keep control of your company’s stock, and by using the Project Accounting add-on module, you can get an overview of what your project has cost, and what you have invoiced your client.
If you invoice your customer on a frequent basis for recurring products, perhaps you could benefit from our Subscription add-on module.
All the add-on modules can easily be added to your agreement by simply choosing the add-on module, from the add-on module menu.
In our E-copedia you can see much more about how to add, an add-on module, and you can read much more about how the functions work.
Have a great weekend

I have just returned from exhibiting with E-conomic at the 2020 annual conference in Birmingham where we spent the day on the E-conomic stand. I can’t believe that its a year since I commented on the last conference – time certainly flies when you are enjoying yourself!

Richard Messik blogging from 2020
Comparing the two conferences there were some marked differences as far as the Cloud in general and Cloud Accounting in particular are concerned. Firstly it must be said that all credit goes to 2020 for promoting the Cloud the way that they do and directing the delegates to the exhibition stands. The 2020 organisers certainly understand the benefits of the Cloud and how it can add value for their accountancy practices.
What struck me this year was how better informed were the accountancy practices – they didn’t necessarily sign up on the spot but all the visitors to the stand were, in the main, well informed about Cloud Accounting and were seeking information as to the distinguishing features of the various applications. And of course one of the noticeable aspects this year was how much choice there is for anyone seeking to move into the Cloud. As well as E-conomic there were 4 other cloud applications exhibiting at the conference and that doesn’t include the many other providers who weren’t there.
A number of enquiries were received from practices where they were already using a Cloud accounting product but wanted to expand their offerings – this all good news for the Cloud industry and accountants. The message is beginning to get through. As well as this, the new Accountants Club concept was well received.
In addition to speaking to the delegates, it was very interesting speaking to the other exhibitors. As well as comparing notes it was very helpful speaking to some other of the product providers who might be able to add some very useful features using E-conomic’s API integration – watch this space!
I forecast that 2011 would be the year of the Cloud and as we approach the last quarter of the year I am convinced that I was correct.
I am now off to Beijing to speak on the benefit of the Cloud at the HLB conference – I shall report on this when I get back.

When you e-mail your invoices, orders, quotations, reminders or other documents to your customers, you can actually be reassured that these e-mails, have been sent to your customer, from your agreement.
This way you are able to avoid tedious discussions with your customer, whether you have sent your customer an invoice or not. Your customer may not have received your e-mail, but that’s a completely different issue
.
