If so, this problem is most likely due to the combination of your internet browser and Adobe Reader.

Adobe Reader has recently updated their tool for showing PDF-files and this has resulted in some problems when showing PDF files (aka your invoices, quotations etc.) when you use Internet Explorer while working in E-conomic.

To remedy this problem, we can recommend these two solutions:

1) You can use another browser, e.g. Mozilla Firefox, or

2) You can use a different tool for showing your PDF-files called “PDF-XChange viewer”.

When using the Scanning add-on module in E-conomic, you can scan your documents, send them to your system and then create entries from the scanned documents – all with very little effort on your behalf!

If you have lots of vouchers, supplier invoices, customer payments and so on that you need to book in your account, you can simply scan these documents and send them to your E-conomic system.

When you have transfered the documents, you can create  entries directly from the PDF scans. This will make your workload a lot easier, and save you time for other fun things!

Administrator improvements

With the release of Market Package 36, administrators can define which administrator users should have access to a specific company. This is particularly useful when you register a new company and only want to grant certain users access to it.

Additionally, administrators can view their own customers numbers in the administrator user register, and see the subscription type for each company in the company register – both updates leading to an improved overview for administrators.

Something for everyone

We’ve also included general updates in this Market Package: You can now delete orders and quotations in one go and it’s become much easier to bar or unbar accounting periods.

If you use the add-on module Stock Management in E-conomic, you now have the opportinity to take advantage of our drop shipping functionality.

What is drop shipping?

Drop shipping allows you to send a product order to your supplier that includes the delivery information of your customer.  This way your supplier can send the goods straight to your customer!

How does it work?

To do this in E-conomic, simply create your customer order as you normally would and then use the option to “Convert your order to a supplier order”.

Then choose wether to create the order as a “New” order with you supplier, or to add your order to an “Exsisting” order with your supplier.

Before you click “OK”,  you simply tick the box “Include customer delivery information” and your supplier order will be created with the delivery address of your customer showing on the supplier order.

It’s easy as that!

If you need a quick overview of your suppliers and their balance, or need to find out when your last payment was made, E-conomic is ready to help you!

You can easily access an overview of your suppliers if you create your own supplier list in the Bookkeeping tab.

In the Supplier list, you can create all of your suppliers in their corresponding supplier groups.

Then you can add all of the relevant data for each, and when you book your supplier invoice you will be able to see the booked amount in the balance as well as be able to follow up on the due balance later.

You can also run a report that will quickly show you when you need to make a payment for a specific supplier.
