    A marriage of two E-conomic add-on modules

    29 April 2011

We are proud to present a new union between two E-conomic add-on modules: Stock Management and Scanning!

Since these two have joined together, you are now able to scan your original supplier invoice and link it to the new supplier invoice that you create.

In the Stock  Management add-on module archive, you can now see both the supplier invoice as it looks when booked in E-conomic, as well as the original supplier invoice that you have linked from your scanned documents.

In our E-copedia you can read more about these two add-on modules and how their new union allows you to link your original supplier invoice to a new supplier invoice.

Have a lovely long weekend (and congratulations Kate and William)! :)

The easy way to create your customers or products!

    22 April 2011

If you’re just starting up with E-conomic, perhaps you need to get all your customers, products, and suppliers into your new system.

You can of course create your customers or  products one by one, but if you would like to work even faster then you can simply import your customers, products or suppliers :-)

If you started your E-conomic agreement by applying a default setup, then you are already on your way to working faster!

When using a default setup, all the necessary functions have already been created in your agreement and you can concentrate on importing your customers or other information.

You can read more about how to work faster (and smarted) with E-conomic in our E-copedia:

Need to change your Financial Year dates ?

    19 April 2011

If you have recently started your busines and joined E-conomic you would have entered the details of your financial year to get started, maybe 01.01.11 through to the 31.12.11 or it could cross over two years 2010/2011. If you then discover after a couple of months, as a lot of companies do, that you need to change these dates you can! and your transactions stay in the correct period.

    Converting a customer order

    8 April 2011

In E-conomic it’s now possible to convert a customer order to a supplier order. When you have created your customer order, and the customer has confirmed it, you can turn their order (or orders) into a supplier order by simply clicking on the icon “Convert customer order to supplier order”.

Once you do this, you’ll have to decide whether you’ll want to create a completely new order, or just add the order to an excisting order with this supplier.

In order to make supplier orders you have to have the E-conomic add-on module Stock Management.

You can read more about how to convert a customer order to a supplier order and many other articles in our E-copedia!

    Have a nice weekend :-)

Foreign currencies and exchange rates in E-conomic

    1 April 2011

If you should have the need, E-conomic enables you to book invoices from your suppliers or to your customers in different currencies.

If you are also booking your various payments in different currencies, E-conomic will automatically book the exchange rate differences on the system account (if you have set up these system accounts already).

When you book entries in other currencies you can use the exchange rates in E-conomic which are updated daily, or you can enter your own fixed exchange rates if you prefer.

In our E-copedia, you can read more about how to work with exchange rates and different currencies in E-conomic.

    Have a lovely weekend! :-)
