Wednesday evening before Easter, E-conomic will be unavailable
E-conomic accounting system users may experience two 3 minute periods where the application is offline between 10:00pm on Wednesday, April 20 and 12:00am Thursday, April 21.
This is because sometimes there is maintenance to be done, and to complete it the application needs to be offline shortly.
We truly hope that the vast majority of our clients will be asleep at this time and that this short downtime will not interfere with their work.
E-conomic will only offline for a few hours in the middle of the night
Happy Easter – with E-conomic
You are of course welcome to use the E-conomic accounting system during the rest of the Easter holidays.
E-conomic will be up and running again as usual on Thursday, April 21 - just in time for a lovely Easter.

As you may have noticed if you follow us on Facebook, E-conomic recently began a celebration as we neared a total of 33,333 customers – aka 1/3 of our mission reach 100,000 customers by 2013.

Almost 33,333 companies utilize the E-conomic accounting system
How we got here
In two years, we have more than doubled our number of customers, and we are well on the way towards our goal of reaching 100,000 customers by 2013.
According to our CEO Torben Frigaard Rasmussen, there are several reasons for the rapid increase in new customers.
One of the main reasons is that more and more accountants are becoming aware of the benefits of online accounting when trying to increase efficiency and get a more dynamic customer approach.

The answer is ” Yes – of course you can!”

In E-conomic you are able to do this with our add-on module called Subscription, and thus book recurring invoices in just a few simple clicks!
All you have to do is create your subscription, for instance for a monthly fruit basket. Then you link the customers who buy the fruit basket to the subscription. Finally, you link the products, which are included in the fruit basket, to the subscription.
When this is done, you just run a supscription batch (run) and your invoices are ready to be booked!
You can read more about the Subscription add-on module and how it works in our E-copedia:
We wish you a happy weekend!

As you most likely know, here at E-conomic we love to use videos as a way to help you learn your way around the E-conomic accounting system.
Take a look at our YouTube channel to watch one of our 150 help videos – which in only a few minutes can show you how to create you first invoice, start using an E-conomic add-on module, or even teach you how to import E-conomic data into CaseWare.
Taking videos to a new level
We suppose it was only a matter of time before our love of videos moved to the next level, so we therefore are happy to share that we have created our first E-conomic video testimonial together with Keith Ward of ITAccounting!
Watch the video to hear how working with E-conomic has provided benefit to ITAccounting:
Thank you to Keith for sharing this story!
What do you think?
Do you agree that videos are a good way to share information? Are there any videos that we’re missing that you’d like to see?
Let us know here in the comments – or send us an email to share your wishes!

Having many customers in your customer list is hopefully a good thing, since it probably means that you do a lot of business!
But then again, you might also have customers in your list that you do not do business with any more, and would like to remove them from your customer list.
Hiding barred customers
After the most recent system improvements, this is now possible in E-conomic!
You can “bar” customers by editing the customer in question and removing the check mark in the “Access” box. This will hide a customer in your customer list.
You are of cause also able to reactivate your customers if you need to by simply adding the check in the “Access” box again.
E-copedia is here to help
Read all about barring customers and much more – or watch a video or two – in our E-copedia.
Have a nice weekend!
