Do you have the right numbers?

    31 December 2010

Not in the lottery – but in your E-conomic account of course! You can find various numbers whenever you feel like it by simply running a report.

    Reports in E-conomic

You can run reports listing your customers, reports showing your profit and loss, or reports showing your turnover statistics – among many others.

These reports can then be exported to Excel and shown and/or printed. You can also print you report directly from E-conomic.

VAT increase to 20% on January 4th 2011

    20 December 2010

Please don’t forget that any sales of standard-rated goods or services that you make on or after January 4, 2011, must inlcude VAT at the new rate of 20%.

    Details

The change only applies to the standard VAT rate – there are no changes to sales that are zero-rated or reduced-rated for VAT. Similarly, there are no changes to the VAT exemptions. Any sales you make at these rates are unaffected by this change.

    In E-conomic

Find out how to create a new VAT code or amend an existing one in your E-conomic agreement.

    System improvements for December

    14 December 2010

Today, we released the 26th E-conomic Market Package!

It’s full of system improvements and enhancements to our basic functionality, and also includes some updates to the API module.

A new Market Package has arrived from Santa E-conomic!

    New enhancements

    This new market package includes:

    • The addition of a new pop-up that will prompt you to create an accounting year if you do not already have one or if your current accounting year ends within the next two weeks.
    • A massive improvement to the detection of bounced e-mails, allowing E-conomic to notify you about bounced emails much more reliably.  (This does not mean that more e-mails will bounce, but just that you will now be alerted to more of them by us.  Hopefully this way you will be better equipped to fix any issue that may be causing your e-mails to bounce.)
    • and much more!

Read more about these and other system improvements in the 26th Market Package.
