I’m delighted to confirm E-conomic’s inroad into Spain (absolutely nothing wrong with heading for warmer climes!). And we welcome all our new Spanish colleagues to the E-conomic family, which appears to be growing apace with forward-plan mutterings of establishment in 12 countries by 2012.
Torben Rasmussen (our CEO) feels the adversity of the global downturn has naturally stimulated innovation and optimisation of efficiency. And, quite apart from the political expediency of not disagreeing with the chap at the top, I have to say even my few months on the E-conomic team have seen a sea-change in the accountancy profession.
Notably this has been amongst previously self-declared, fully paid up, die-hard luddites who are finding client demand is increasingly for 24/7, accessible from anywhere, cost efficient use of online accounting benefits. And you know what they say, the client’s always right!
