Most businesses turn to their accountant for advice about which accounting package to use and they often end up with Sage because it’s the most well known package amongst accountants in the UK. While accountants generally can see the benefit of going online, for many practices it’s a case of “better the devil you know’.

A recent query came from a customer who was unable to view a posted sales invoice.
On further investigation the customer advised that they had recently upgraded to a new version of Internet Explorer, causing some of the settings to be changed.

e-conomic international has moved its HQ to the old harbor area in Copenhagen.
Previously, the buildings were owned and used by the company named “Burmeister & Wain”. This company started in 1843 and over the years it became the biggest company in Denmark, building more than 1,000 ships and supplying almost every other shipyard with their famous 2-stroke diesel engine.

According to a story today on Accountancy Age ‘A new survey highlights concerns over IT upgrades 90% of SAP software users from the UK, France and Spain questioned by Macro 4, admitted that they find performing upgrades a challenge.

The 5th in our regular delivery of fixes/new features recently went live. Each release is the culmination of a mini-development project aiming to do some of the things that customers ask for most. These packages are in addition to our regular support service where we make fixes and improvements on an almost daily basis.
