e-conomic often surprises me by making it really easy to do things that you think are going to be hard or even impossible. Just last week I learned something new while answering the question of a customer who wanted to change the number of periods in their current accounting year. In some systems this might be impossible, but with e-conomic you can do it easily.

I was very interested to read an article today on an Accounting web newswire by Guest Practice editor Mark Lee about ‘How Accountants can help SMEs through the recession’ and one of the points made was that an Accountant can spend hours doing recociliations and adjustments at the year end in order to ensure valid figures.

We have introduced two new features in the subscription module. Like the other functions of the subscription module these functions addresses firms and organisations using recurring invoicing e.g. web hosting, leasing companies, clubs etc.

Mar 13th we announced our financial result for 2008. In short we have continued our growth of some 60 percent.
Clearly we are delighted with the result. Including the record breaking January month with an intake of more than 1,000 new companies, which indicates a continuation of the growth.
